Civil War comes to CMS

CMS 8th grade students were treated to a presentation today by 6 civil war re-enactors.  Students were able to view authentic and original civil war uniforms, artifacts, and weapons.  They were also treated to stories told by the re-enactors about battles, the life style of the soldiers, and the importance of those serving the United State in the military currently and past.  The presentation lasted 90 minutes and was a success from both the presenters stand point and the students.  I tip my hat to the students as they were awesome, and made a very positive impression on the presenters.
